No. Document and image processing runs locally on your Mac. PixaSmith does not require an account and does not include analytics.
No. Extracted, compressed, and converted results are written to the output folder you choose. Source files remain unchanged.
PixaSmith publishes a compressed copy only when it is meaningfully smaller and passes the selected visual-quality checks. Already-efficient files can finish without a new copy.
Yes. Image compression accepts up to 1,000 JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or HEIC files in one batch and continues past unsupported or already-efficient items.
Image-only PDFs preserve eligible embedded images. Pages containing text, vectors, gradients, or other composed artwork export as complete rendered PNG files.
